Hubbie's Chili

Hubbie came up with this recipe today..We had it for lunch and we're eating it for supper also. It makes a whole bunch!!

Hubbie's Creation Chili

2 1/2 pd. grd. beef
3 cans seasoned diced tomato sauce for chili(we used Hunt's)
1 lg. onion, chop
2 grn.bell pepper, chop
1 clove garlic, chop
4 Serrona peppers, chop(left the seeds in)(for some reason ours were not hot)
2 jalepenos, chop.
1 bunch cilantro, finely chop.
1 can spicy chili beans
1 can blk. beans
2 can red kidney beans
1 can light kidney beans
(he rinsed the beans before putting in the pot)
Hot sauce to taste
pepper to taste
1 sm. can tomato paste
3 c. water

mix all ingred. in a huge stockpot or probably a big crockpot would work. It's done when veggies are soft.

I know this sounds like it is really hot but it isn't..My son loved it and after a first taste asked for more peppers!!

Mr. Potato Head pumpkin and Devin on Motorcylce

So My hubbie's parents came to our house today and gave my son a Mr. Potato head kit (to decorate a pumpkin) It's a pirate and it's actually sorta cute:)

Ribbet..There's a frog where?

*Just a small,humorous story*



So a couple of nights ago Devin comes in the living room saying there is a frog in my bathroom....Did daddy put in there? I say What?(not really believing him) So I go in his bathroom and yep there is a small frog in his toliet. O.k. so I try to get the little bugger out with a plastic cup..Well I wasn't going to touch it!! Well the frog decides to hide under the rim ok... He'll come out when he feels like it. I tell Devin He'll come out. Don't worry. No Daddy did not put it there and it will not get U. For days he would not go to his bathroom he would go to ours. He would ask me everyday is the frog still there? Well I decided it was high time I should clean the bathrooms so I do! I even put bleach in devin's toliet (the boy has a hard time remembering to flush) anyways I'm thinking with all those chemicals and since I cleaned in that spot the frog must have moved on..Last night Devin finally felt brave and used his bathroom and Ta-Da! The frog came out of hiding!!
